Indian Superstar “Amitabh Bachchan” is in mess
due to his Show “Kaun Banega Crorepati”. “Amitabh Bachchan” income and paid tax
amount have been questioned by the IT Department (Income Tax).
IT Department has found it fit to draw the actor
to court over the tax he was suppose to pay for his income from “Kaun Banega
Crorepati”.
Supreme Court took up the appeal that was filed
by IT Department. They claimed that “Amitabh Bachchan” owes Rs 1.66 crore as
his tax amount exclusively from the income he collected by hosting the reality
quiz show KBC during the year of 2001-2002.
Big B has been hosting the show for the fifth
time since 2000. The only time it went on air without him at the helm was in
the third season when Actor “Shahrukh Khan” hosted it. Big B also won people’s
choice award for the best TV host.
